Hello, boys and girls! How´re you today?
Today we checked your homework and you´ve got 1 star for it. Well done!
Today we revised our toys. Do you remember all of them?
What have you got? - I´ve got a ...
Let´s practise a little bit. Look at these links and practise:
Toys Exercise 1
Toys Exercise 2
Also we listened to some children and their favourite toys:
What´s your favourite toy? - It´s a doll.
Our Cow Polly has a bad memory, she confuses the words:
Is it a ball? - No, it isn´t. It´s a doll.
Is it a car? - No, it isn´t. It´s a train.
Let´s watch a video and listen to the kids - Video Toys:
How many toys has Anna, Tom and Lisa got? Can you write them down?
Also today we read one more pronunciation story. A mouse escaped from her cage and spilt the ink over herself. Since then she´s called Inky. She´s grey and has got a black spot on its back. Can you colour her in your copies?
Mouse Inky makes this squeaky sound "iiiiiiiiiii". Practise writing this sound in your copies.
Also we played a pronunciation bingo - words and sounds:
tent - t
spider - s
apple - a
ink - i etc.
Our lucky student this week is Ivan. He takes our Dragon Rocky home. Take care of it and tell the class about your week together!
Your homework is to find more words with our sounds "s, a, t, i", write them down in the blog, find the pictures to illustrate.
S---Snake
ResponderEliminarA---Ant
T---Toy, Train
I----Ice
Hey, great! But don´t forget that we´re talking about sounds, not letters.
EliminarSo, "Ice" won´t do here. How about "igloo"?
Nadia:
ResponderEliminarS -- Snail
A -- animals
T -- Tomato
I -- icecream
Oh, nice, Nadia.
EliminarBut "ice-cream" doesn´t have sound "iiiiiiii". What about the word "igloo"?
Sofía:
ResponderEliminarS -- Spain, spider
A -- arm
T -- table
I -- indian
Hey, great! Don´t forget that these are sounds, not letters. So, let´s look for similar sounds:
EliminarA - ant, apple, arrow etc, "Arm" doesn´t suit here.
